Hi! I'm Sophia and this is my second year in Apache News. In APN, I mainly work with the Sports team, but I do anchor for the regular show from time to time. Before APN, I was a member of Speech and Debate and the Softball team at Arcadia High School. However, I am glad I transitioned to Apache News because I get to express my ideas and opinions on a more diverse platform with open minded peers. APN has not only challenged me to explore different types of stories, but also taught me how to handle fast paced environments, which will be a useful skill in the future.
